Kismet Bottom Fishing Charters
Since it is not possible to fish off of the sailboat, we offer private fishing trips on the Charleston Harbor for up to 10 passengers on our bueautiful Chesapeake Deadrise Kismet. The only boat in Charleston that can accomodate more than 6 on a fishing charter..
We offer fishing as part of a fun way to explore the harbor with friends. More casual then a typical fishing charter as we find that most of our groups are just out to have a good time and catch something, whether it be a fish or a good buzz.
Perfect for large familes with young and older folks, half the boat is shaded to keep you out of the sun if you wish. A cutting edge sound system can keep the party going if the fishing gets slow. We also have floating toys if you want to jump in and swim when it gets hot.
Charters include bait, tackle, ice, and pictures of you and your catch.
You must bring food, alcoholic drink, sunscreen, sun glasses, hat, etc...we provide the poles, bait, bottled water and sodas. A large cooler with ice is on board for your things.
Species of fish include redfish, black seabass, speckled trout, sheepshead, blue fish, whiting, and the occasional shark.

We find that the typical guys outing will want to fish for about an hour or so, once the mid day heat kicks in or the group gets bored with catching fish we cruise over to a protected swimming spot, blow up the toys and jump in during the summer. Water temps get up to 88 degrees and the outside feels-like temp can be around 105 in the afternoon. There is ample shade and seating to keep those who want to stay cooler out of the sun, and a seabreeze keeps everyone cooler once that wind picks up in the afternoon.
Charters typicaly start out of the City Marina but can also pick up at Isle of Palms Marina, Folly Beach, or anywhere. We can pick you up and drop you off, delivery times to and from drop off pickup locations are billed at $275 per hour.
